Frequently Asked Questions

Does Next Level have access to my client and/or donor information?

Yes, because Next Level primarily functions as a center management tool, we do have administrator-level access to your donor and client information. Administrator level access is granted only to a limited number of Next Level personnel as is necessary to perform the functions of the Next Level Software. This is an industry standard among all center management software and does not put your clients’ private health information (PHI) at risk. Per our contractual agreement, Next Level will not use individual client or donor information in any way outside the normative parameters of data entry and management. Neither Next Level nor any subsidiaries or parent organizations will contact your donors or clients at any time for any purpose, without your express, written consent. All statistics and data analysis stemming from your client and donor data will first be redacted for the protection and privacy of your clients, donors and organization.

How Does Next Level protect my clients’ private health information?

Whether or not your organization considers itself a covered entity under HIPAA regulations, it is your priority to properly steward your clients’ private health information (PHI). Next Level is committed to the security and privacy of your clients. Designed and implemented by health care professionals, Next Level’s on-board security complies with the latest HIPAA requirements, protecting your clients’ PHI every step of the way.

Does Next Level offer a business associate agreement?

HIPAA regulations define a "business associate” as "a person or entity that performs certain functions or activities that involve the use or disclosure of protected health information on behalf of, or provides services to, a covered entity.” As such, Next Level can enter into a (Heartbeat International provided) business associate agreement (BAA) with your pregnancy help organization, if applicable. Ensuring your clients’ private health information (PHI) is of utmost importance for Next Level, and we are committed to working with your organization to meet this crucial goal.
